Mikel Obi has officially announced his retirement from the national team, Super Eagles. In a post he shared on his Instagram page this afternoon, the football star says at 32, he believes it is time for him to retire so the youths can take over. Timi Dakolo has reacted to the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN's statement denying that it sent its officials to support Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) during last Sunday’s church service. Recall that the Abuja CAN Chairman, Rev. Jonah Samson and his Northcentral counterpart, Rev. Israel Akanji, were spotted in a viral video, pledging to stand by Fatoyinbo, who was accused of rape by Mrs Busola Dakolo, the wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo, and another anonymous lady. However CAN disowned the video clip showing its officials on a solidarity visit to the COZA Senior Pastor, saying it knew nothing about it.
